- Advocating for nationwide recognition of CFAA Fire Alarm Technician credential across Canada
- Awarded 9 “Above & Beyond” awards to deserving CFAA Registered Fire Alarm Technicians and 3 Student Scholarship Awards to fire protection students
- Sponsored National Fire Prevention Week aimed to promote fire prevention best practices in communities across Canada
- Created the French version of our Fire Alarm Verification Inspection training tool
- Development underway for a new Association Management System and website to be launched in early 2026
- Qualifying our Fire Alarm Technology Registration Program to ISO/IEC 17024: Conformity assessment — General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons
- Developing a tiered Fire Alarm Technician certification program
- Over 80,000 hours of online training purchased
- Offered 95 hours of new Continuing Education training content, with in-person and live online delivery formats
- Created a new edition of the CFAA Reference Manual to include updated Codes and Standards references and new technologies and requirements
- 20% increase of online education sales
- Hosted 14 technical training events across Canada with 3000+ attendees
- Developed a new Strategic Plan with the Board of Directors
- Updating all CFAA’s Fire Alarm Technology Program online courses and books
- Updated the CFAA Deficiencies Guide to aid in the inspection, testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and reporting
- Created 3 new videos for fire alarm technicians covering preparedness and communications
